Chia Fruit Squares
These squidgy fruit squares can set you up for the day at breakfast, or make a tasty midday snack.

Serves: 16
Ingredients
90 g porridge oats
75 g chia seeds
75 g margarine
3 tbsp agave syrup
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
1 tbsp pine nuts
2 bananas
2 apples
400 ml boiling water
Method
Soak the chia seeds in boiling water for 15 minutes, or until the water has been completely absorbed.
Melt the margarine in a saucepan, along with the agave syrup.
Pre-heat the oven to 180 & #3872 ;C/ 160 & #3872 ;C fan/325& #3872 ;F/5 Gas.
Slice the apples, and stir in.
Mash the bananas, and stir in.
Mix together the oats, seeds, nuts, and coconut, and then stir into the mixture.
Stir in the chia seeds, and press the mixture into a square baking tray.
Bake for half an hour.
Slice into 16 squares.
