Chia seeds are considered as superfood thanks to its composition and nutritional values, being a natural source of fatty acids (Omega 3), contains lots of proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and fiber. Also helps control cholesterol levels and stabilize blood pressure, aids digestion by improving intestinal transit, controls sugar levels in the blood and helps control appetite.

Chia seeds can be ingested in natural juices, salads, in oatmeal breakfast, in sandwiches and also by way of dessert.

This basic , is incredibly easy to prepare and I have no words to express how yummy it is. You can also let your imagination fly and add some coconut flakes, cocoa, some fruits, vanilla or cinnamon and always be delicious, refreshing and very nutritious.


Preparation Time: 3 minutes
Fridge Time: 1 hour (at least)
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients

1/4 cup Chia seeds
1 Stevia sachet
2 cups Almond milk
Lemon zest



Method

  • Combine all ingredients in a large container.

  • Mix well and close container.

  • Refrigerate overnight or at least 5-6 hours.
