Brownies have to be one of life’s simple (yet sometimes guilty) pleasures. And it’s not easy to stop at just one. If you are trying to lose weight, this is not the recipe for you. But, if you are nursing a broken heart, then this is the perfect remedy. Or if you have friends coming over for afternoon tea, make an extra batch because they will disappear before you have a chance to say “coffee anyone?”

Chocolate Brownies also make a great gift. Package them in a nice box and present them proudly to your best friend for her birthday.

They are very easy to make and if you have children, why not get them involved. They will love getting messy and licking the spoon and bowl.

If your children enjoy cooking or you are looking for child friendly recipes, head over to the Hey Gorgeous Kids website – www.heygorgeouskids.com for plenty more ideas.
