So the other day I had a huge chunk of Cadbury milk chocolate from a charity auction, but since I'm not a fan of milk chocolate I was trying to figure out what to do with it. I also had some leftover lebanese bread just waiting to be made into something so lo and behold, a chocolate peanut butter & banana pizza was born.
This is perfect for when you crave something sweet and chocolatey and need a simple tasty snack that's ready in a matter of minutes.
75g cooking chocolate (milk or dark)
1 lebanese bread
1 large banana, sliced into thin pieces
1 tablespoon peanut butter
6g almond flakes
Preheat oven to 200C.
Chop chocolate into small pieces and place in a small microwavable bowl.
Melt chocolate by heating it for 30 seconds in a microwave at 50% power. Take the bowl of chocolate out of the microwave and stir with a spoon. Place it back inside the microwave and heat for a further 20 seconds, take out and stir. Heat it in the microwave again for another 10 seconds, remove from the microwave and stir. Leave to cool.
Spread peanut butter on the lebanese bread evenly, then place the banana pieces on top.
Pour the melted chocolate in a small zip-lock bag, and snip a bit of the edge of the bag to create a small hole.
Gently squeeze zip-lock bag and pipe melted chocolate onto the pizza. Scatter almond flakes on top.
Place pizza in oven for 5 minutes. Cut into quarters and serve warm.
