A beautiful and healthy treat, these balls can be left raw and eaten at a whim or baked for 10 mins and turned into cookies. I have always had a soft spot for tahini and together with the honey and chocolate it reminds me of sweet halva.

Cooking Time: 0 minutes or 10 if baking
Makes: 34

Ingredients
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups quick oats
1/2 cup honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
6 tbsp tahini
1/2 cup dark choc chips (or walnuts)

Method

Try not to dive in here.
Mix all your ingredients in a big bowl. If the mixture is too dry add a tablespoon of water or more honey.
Roll teaspoon sized chunks of mixture into balls. I get about 34 small balls or 16 larger balls.

You want a wet but malleable dough
Leave to set in the fridge and eat at leisure or press balls down slightly and bake in a 175° oven for 10 minutes.

Small ball enjoyed with a hot cup of cocoa
These are perfect on yogurt for breakfast, as a quick pick me through the day or a nutritious treat with your last cup of cocoa at night.

Large ball crumbled on top of my green smoothie bowl for breakfast.
