Chunky Avocado Dip

Avocado is an essential superfood, so I try and sneak as much into my diet as I can. This handy recipe goes down great as a meal or just a snack while you are on the go. It is also great to serve when entertaining friends and family.



Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients
1 tin baby peas
Whole avocado
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
2 spring onions, chopped
Half a fresh lime, juiced
Fresh basil leaves
Tablespoon sea salt
Teaspoon cayenne pepper
Black pepper
Paprika
French stick to serve

Method
  • Add can of baby peas, avocado, garlic, spring onions, lime, salt and cayenne pepper in a food processor and blend.

  • Place mixture into a bowl and garnish with paprika, black pepper and basil leaves.


  • NOTE: You may like to add some chilli flakes for extra flavour. If your dip is lacking that vibrant green colour, add some partially cooked frozen peas.
