Chunky Avocado Dip

You wouldn't know it but avocados are classified as a fruit. You also might not know it's a super food packed with 20 essential nutrients such as fibre and folic acid, and more potassium than bananas. So this dip is a great way to get extra nutrients, and it tastes so good.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 1 cup

Ingredients
1 avocado
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of garlic minced
1/4 red onion diced
Himalayan salt and pepper to season
For warm dip
1 teaspoon dried parsley
3 tablespoons of bread crumbs
Oven safe dish

This dip goes well with corn chips

Method
  • Cut avocado in half and scoop it out
  • Scoop out avocado

  • Dice avocado
  • Diced avocado

  • Mash avocado
  • Mashed avocado

  • Add in diced onion and garlic
  • Season with salt and pepper, stir to combine
  • Pour into serving bowl and serve with corn chips
  • For a warm dip place dip into a oven safe dish, preferably one that looks good to serve in
  • Oven safe dish

  • Top with bread crumbs and dried parsley and bake at 200 degrees for 12 minutes
  • Baked dip with breadcrumbs
