Condensed Milk Biscuits

Condensed Milk Biscuits

Posted 2017-08-03 by BritishStormfollow
Possibly the easiest biscuit you will ever make. Perfect for cake stalls or just to keep the family happy. We like these in little bitty sizes, but they also make a great GIANT cookie. Just refrigerate the dough and roll it out.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-12 minutes
Makes: Quantity varies

Ingredients

500g butter
½ cup caster sugar
5 cups of self raising flour
1 can of condensed milk (400g)
1 cup of choc chips

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees (fan forced).
  • Cream together butter, condensed milk and sugar.

  • Add flour and choc-chips (optional) and mix with a wooden spoon.

  • Flatten onto tray into whatever size/shape you prefer. We have gone for a mix of sizes. This photo shows approximately half of the biscuit dough.

  • Bake for 10-12 until a lovely golden brown
  • Let them cool on tray before transferring onto cooling rack.
