Cranberries and chestnuts are two traditional festive treats around Christmas. By combing the two together, you can make yourself a nice tart sauce to go with your turkey.

Makes: 1 jar
Ingredients
300g fresh cranberries
150g chestnut puree
300ml water
1tbsp Truvia sweetener (or 50g granulate sugar)
1tbsp cornflour
Method
Heat the cranberries, sweetener/sugar, and water in a sauce pan.
Bring to the boil, and stir in cornflour and chestnut puree.
Simmer until thick, stirring regularly.
Sieve the mixture and allow to cool.
Pour the sauce into a jam jar.
