Creamy Parmesan Polenta

This recipe makes a perfect side dish of soft, creamy, cheesy polenta that taste terrific and ready in just a few minutes.



Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
3 cups milk
1 cup polenta
50g butter
50g grated parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Method
  • In a saucepan, combine milk with 3 cups of water. Bring to the boil under a medium high heat.



  • Slowly pour in the polenta while whisking constantly.



  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Whisk vigorously for 2 minutes or until thickened.



  • Remove from the heat and stir with a wooden spoon for 1 minute.



  • Add in the butter, grated parmesan and season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir until combined.



  • Serve immediately.
