These biscuits are delicious! Not only do they make your taste buds love you, they are very healthy, insanely cheap and easy to make and best of all they are cruelty free!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 24 servings

4 cups Self Raising Flour

1 1/2 Cups Almond Milk

1/2 Cup of Vegetable Oil

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

Icing and Filling

2 Cups Icing Sugar

1 Tablespoon Almond Milk

Strawberry Jam

Decoration of your choosing! This can be sprinkles, jelly tots or edible writing!

Pre-heat oven to 220 degrees celsius and line a baking tray and dust lightly with flour (grease proof paper can be used to line baking tray instead.

Sieve the self raising flour into a large bowl.

Mix the flour, salt and sugar together in a large bowl.

Pour the almond milk and vegetable oil into the bowl.

Mix until the mixture becomes dough like.

Use your hands to then knead the dough in the bowl for approximately 1 minute.

Lightly dust your kitchen surface, place your dough onto the surface and use a rolling pin to roll the mixture to approximately 1/2cm thick.

Use a cookie cutter to cut your dough into circles and place on your baking tray.

Bake in the oven for approximately 10minutes until starting to go light golden brown.

Remove from the oven and place on cooling rack.

For the icing and filling;

Mix the icing sugar and almond mix together in a medium sized bowl until all is mixed thoroughly.

Separate biscuits into two even batches.

Ice and decorate one half and with the other half spread an even layer of jam.

Place the iced biscuits on top of the ones with jam and then place in the fridge to set.

The icing will take approximately 30minutes to set in the fridge.
