Crunchy Fish Fry

This is an easy very delicious crispy and crunchy fish that can be eaten with salad, chips or enjoyed on its own with a nice sauce!



Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 5 servings

Ingredients
Fish pieces 10
Semolina 1 cup
Rice flour 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1/4 tsp
Enough oil to deep fry

Method
  • Mix the semolina and rice flour in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl mix the fish pieces in the ginger garlic paste, garam masala and lemon juice and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Pour the oil into a pan and heat.
  • Take the fish pieces our of the marinade and put in the rice and semolina bowl. Toss each piece until it is covered.
  • Carefully place the fish pieces into the hot oil and deep fry until crispy.
  • Serve with onion rings, lemon and chilli sauce.
