If you like to drink but are on a budget, why not throw a house party and ask everyone to bring one bottle of liquor each (each different from the other)?

I've put together a concise but comprehensive list of unique shots that you can make for yourself and friends without breaking the bank.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 5-10 servings (variable)

Ingredients - Chocolate Espresso shots
Not exactly alcoholic, but it's a great way to get a burst of energy.

5 cups milk
1/2 cup espresso
8 oz dark/white chocolate (chopped)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract

chocolate, espresso, shot

Heat the milk in a pot over high heat until it's hot, but make sure it doesn't boil.

Lower the heat to the minimum temperature.

Add the espresso, chocolate, sugar, and vanilla into the warm milk.

Stir the mixture till all the chocolate has melted.

Continue stirring the chocolate mixture till it becomes frothy for about 8 minutes, and smooth mixture is attained.

Pour into little cups and serve immediately.

Ingredients - Quick Fuck recipe
Yes, it's got an explicit name, but the shot does the name justice.

10ml Bailey's liqueur
10ml Kahlua coffee liqueur
10ml Midori liqueur

Pour the liqueurs, one by one into a shot glass.

Shoot very slowly.

Ingredients - Brain Haemorrhage shot

A dash of Baileys liqueur
A dash of grenadine
1/2 part peach schnappes

Fill the shot glass with the peach schnappes.

Pour some Baileys into the centre.

Top it off with a dash of grenadine.

The Baileys form a shape of a brain and the grenadine the shape of a haemorrhage.

Shoot slowly and enjoy this delicious shot.

Ingredients - Cookie Monster shot
Typically, this shot is set on fire, but if you're making this shot for the first time, I'd recommend using the safer option and having the shot without setting it alight.

1/2 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur
1/2 oz Bailey's liqueur
1 tsp Bacardi 151 rum
A dash of cinnamon (ground)

Using a spoon for an even layer, pour the Kahlua and Bailey's into the shot glass.

Top it off (still using the spoon) with Bacardi 151.

Set the shot on fire, let it burn for 5 seconds.

Blow the fire out and sprinkle some cinnamon onto the shot.

Shoot slowly (once all the fire has burnt out).
