Easy Delicious Mango Raita Dessert

This is a healthy, delicious and easy dessert to make. Ready in just a few minutes, you can use fresh mangoes which will be plentiful and cheap shortly.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 2 - 3 servings

Ingredients
1 ripe mango, chopped
1 cup yoghurt, plain
1 tbsp honey
Few strands of saffron
2 tbsp slivered or sliced almonds

Method
  • Dissolve the saffron threads in a tsp of warm water - the water will turn an orange colour.


  • Put the yoghurt in a bowl and add the honey.


  • Mix or whisk until it is smooth.

  • Add the saffron water into the yoghurt mixture.

  • Add the chopped pieces of mango and the almonds.


  • Mix well, and serve!


  • Can be made ahead, and is refreshing, healthy and delicious.
