Effortless Herbed Bread Sticks

Left over bread or stale bread can be turned into these delicious crunchy herbed bread sticks. They can be enjoyed as a snack with a cheesy dip or dipped in your favourite soup. Plain bread can be replaced with multi-grain bread for a healthier version.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Makes: 1 box servings

Ingredients
1 packet Old Bread
1 tbsp mixed dry Italian herbs
6-7 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
Knife


Method
  • Cut the bread into long strips.
  • Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees celcius.
  • Lay the bread strips on a greased baking tray and brush them with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle the herbs over evenly.
  • Bake for 10-20 minutes tossing every 5 minutes.
  • Baking time will depend on the dryness of your bread.Dry breads cook faster.
