European Garlic Bread

Who knew something so incredibly simple can taste so delicious. .



Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
Oil
4 Slices of rye sourdough bread (heavy, dense rye is best, although you can use any sourdough or rye bread)
Salt
1 Clove garlic



Method
  • Step 1
  • Heat oil in frying pan

  • Step 2
  • Add slices of bread and cook on each side until light brown - 1-2 minutes each side



  • Step 3
  • Sprinkle bread with salt

  • Step 4
  • Rub garlic over the bread on one or both sides



    This versatile garlic bread can be served with soup or as a brushetta.

    To prepare bruschetta mix, simply combine chopped tomatoes, onions, garlic and olive oil and place mixture on top of garlic bread.
