Exotic Bombay French Toast
This is no ordinary toast. This is an exotic, Bombay, French toast. Make it in minutes, eat it in seconds.

Makes: 12 servings
Ingredients
6 slices of bread
5 eggs
Half an onion
Pinch of salt
South Asian cooking spices (such as a pinch of cumin, chilli flakes, fenugreek, garam masala, chilli powder, pomegranate seeds)
Crushed dried curry leaves
Vegetable oil
Method
Cut the slices of bread diagonally and put aside.
Whisk the eggs in a shallow bowl.
Slice the onions and add them to the whisked eggs, along with the salt, South Asian spices and crushed dried curry leaves.
Heat about 8 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick frying pan.
Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture and shallow fry on medium-high heat.
Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Remove from heat, allow to cool if you please. Bismillaah and Bon Appétit!
