Ferrero Rocher Cacao Balls

These Ferrero Rocher inspired cacao balls are a cinch to make and so, so, so delicious. They are super healthy and have super foods as ingredients, a much better option then the store bought confectionary. Try making these with different nuts or add coconut to mix things up.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Setting Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

50 grams oat flour/almond meal*
20 - 25 grams coconut oil
30 grams maple syrup
15 grams raw cacao powder
Touch of vanilla essence
1 tsp hazelnut or almond butter

Cacao sauce
1 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
1 Tbsp cacao powder
1/2 Tbsp maple syrup

1/3 C hazelnut meal or crushed nuts.

For the balls simply mix all the ingredients, roll into balls (4 big or 6 small) and place in the fridge to set.

Cacao Sauce
For the chocolate or cacao sauce mix melted oil, cacao powder and syrup until smooth.

Roll the set balls into the cacao sauce and then into the crushed hazelnuts.

Enjoy straight away or store in the fridge.**

*Almond and oat flour are both easily made by placing them in a high speed blender for a few seconds until a fine powder is formed.
**I'm not sure how long these will last in the fridge as they were gone within the hour, I think about a week.
