This is a fantastic fragrant beef curry that melts in your mouth.

You can also substitute beef with lamb for this recipe.

This curry will fill your house with wonderful smells of winter wholesomeness. The blend of spices is perfect and if you cook your rice with turmeric, the color is bright and exotic. It is a mild curry so if you wanted to add some kick, you can put some fresh chili or chili flakes into it.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 to 40 minutes
Makes: 2-4 servings depending on how much meat you are using

Ingredients
500g of beef or lamb
1 onion
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 teaspoon of garlic flakes
1 teaspoon of cumin
3 to 4 cloves
1/2 teaspoon of cardamom pods
1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger
1/2 cup of white pepper
2 cups of rice
1 and 1/2 cups of yogurt
1 teaspoon of salt

Method
Dice the meat.

In a bowl add all your spices with fresh ginger and salt.

Add half a cup of yogurt.

Use your hands to coat the meat. Leave the meat to the side for an hour in the fridge. The longer you leave it the better.

In a pot, fry the onion.

Add the meat to the onion and fry up for 10 minutes.

Add a cup of yogurt.

Cook for 30 to 40 minutes on low until meat is tender.

Cook the rice with a teaspoon of turmeric and some stock.

Serve up and enjoy.

Doesn't anyone proof-read the recipes or did you really mean put 1/2 cup white pepper in this Recipe?
I guess it was not proofread. It was meant to say half a teaspoon of white pepper.
