Freezable 2 Ingredient Pizza Dough

Pizza is a weekly event in our house, I like to be prepared and make a big batch of dough and freeze it to make pizza night quicker. This dough is quick to make, freezes well and makes a terrific tasting pizza.


Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 1 large pizza base

Ingredients
1 cup SR flour
1 cup Greek yoghurt

Method
  • In a bowl, add the flour and yoghurt and mix until a dough is formed.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes. If the dough is too sticky to work with add more flour until it is manageable.
  • Form into a ball and wrap in cling wrap before freezing.
  • When it is time to use the dough, allow dough to defrost before kneading for a minute. Then roll out into your desired pizza shape and apply toppings.

  • You can multiply this recipe up easily. I buy Greek yoghurt in 1kg tubs, I tip the entire tub of yoghurt into a bowl and add 4 cups of flour and knead it all together. Divide into 4 portions and wrap each separately in cling wrap, then freeze.
