Fried Chickpeas

A delicious tasty snack that you can change to suit your preferences/mood just by changing the spices you use. These are very more-ish so you may want to make a second batch in a different flavour.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes
Serves: 1-3

Ingredients
1-2 tsp mixed spices (Garlic, Chilli, Cumin etc)
Salt to taste
3 tbs Olive Oil
1 x 400g can Chick Peas

Method
  • In a colander rinse the peas to remove the water they were packaged in then pat dry with paper towels.
  • Combine spices and set aside
  • Heat oil in frying pan to a medium high heat, saute chickpeas, stirring frequently for 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden.
  • Drain on paper towel, place chickpeas and spices in a medium bowl, toss to coat and season to taste with salt.
