A literal twist on the classic mince pie.

Ingredients
640g pastry
1 orange
411g jar of fruit-mince
25g icing sugar (plus extra for dusting)
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Method
Pre-heat oven to 200 ༠C/ 180 ༠C fan/ 400 ༠F/ 6 Gas.
Divide the pastry into two equal pieces and roll them both out into a rectangle.
Spread the fruit-mince over one sheet of pastry.
Zest the orange and sprinkle the zest over the fruit-mince.
Place the other sheet of pastry on top.
Mix together the cinnamon and icing sugar, sprinkle over the pastry, and gently press it in.
Slice into 14 strips and twist them starting from one end. Once you reach the middle, twist the other end the opposite direction.
Bake for 18 minutes and allow to cool.
