Ingredients 220 g macaroni/ fusilli
40 g butter
40 g flour
500 ml milk
110 g cheddar or Gouda cheese
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 red chilli, chopped
1 can of tuna
50 g breadcrumbs
Juice of 1-2 limes
Salt & pepper
Bring a pot of salted water to the boil. Put in the pasta and cook for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a skillet/frying pan over low heat, then add the flour. Stir to combine until it becomes a paste, and then pour in the milk gently. Cook at a simmer, stirring until the paste is dissolved.
Keep stirring the sauce constantly until it thickens, then turn off the heat. Grate the cheese into it, season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce onto the pasta in an oven-safe bowl. Mix well.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Bake the pasta in the oven for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, heat some oil on the stove, then saute the garlic, chilli, tuna, breadcrumbs, and parsley.
