Garlic and Chili Prawns

This chili treat is perfect for a party table, lunch, or dinner side!



Preparation Time: 15 minutes, plus time to marinade
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
3/4 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons crushed garlic
Chili flakes to taste, or 1/2 a tablespoon of chilli sauce
Grated rind of one lemon
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
700g of prawns

Method
  • Peel and de-vein the prawns. Either leave the tails intact or remove them as you like.

  • Combine the oil, garlic, chilli, lemon rind, sugar, and pepper in a bowl.





  • Add the prawns and stir to coat the prawns in marinade.

  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave to stand in the fridge for a few hours.



  • Cook the prawns in a pan and serve immediately.
