Garlicky Broccoli and Brussels Sprouts
A hearty and healthy lunch or dinner that is full of goodness. We all no Brussels srpouts but some people find them bitter. Trim the outer leaves and cover with garlic and chilli and even the most stubborn Brussels sprout hater will be turned.

Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 2-4 servings
Ingredients
3 tablespoons oil (or butter)
2 cloves garlic
260 grams broccoli florets
400 grams Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
1 small tomato, seeded and diced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Rice, pasta or potatoes to serve.
Method
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a non stick pan over a medium heat; cook and stir the diced garlic until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.
Stir in the broccoli florets and trimmed Brussels sprouts. Add the diced tomato and remaining oil and season with salt and red pepper flakes.
Stir the Brussels sprouts mixture until well-combined and browned about 9 minutes.
Serve over a bed or rice, with some wholemeal pasta or roast potatoes.
