Gluten Free Frozen Yogurt

Many people mistakenly believe yogurt is a GF no go area, but Greek yogurt is naturally GF because no thickeners such as whey, rye, barley, or gluten-containing substances are added. Only if you're lactose-intolerant will yogurt be a health risk.

Preparation Time: 1 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 5 servings

Ingredients
Greek yogurt 500g
Natural yogurt 500g
Almonds
1 tsp honey (optional)

Method



  • Mix the tubs of yogurt together in a bowl then separate into smaller tubs – Tupperware works fine and pop in the freezer for 30 minutes, removing and stirring halfway through (this makes it easier to eat and more shop-like)



  • To make a nice topping I bashed a few almonds and toasted them slightly by baking in the oven, and drizzled with a little honey for sweetness.







  • Scoop out the frozen yogurt, and top with the broken, sweet almonds. Healthiest, GF snack around.





    No need to head to town for your favourite frozen yogurt any more! Save money and experiment with your own toppings
