Golden chives may seen like an exotic novelty herb, but they are part of the chive family. The flavor is a lot sweeter than its green chive cousin. A simple, quick stir-fry with prawns and eggs to bring out the tender mild flavor.

Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients
Golden Chives 1 bunch
Cooked large tiger prawns x 5
Eggs x 2
Cooking rice wine
Salt & pepper
Method
Beat the eggs well and infuse a dash of cooking rice wine.
Heat pan on high and toss in the prawns to add color. Remove from heat.
Add the golden chives into the hot pan and stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes.
Pour in the beaten eggs and let it cover the golden chives.
Return the prawns to the pan.
Season with salt and cracked black pepper.
