Grilled Tomato Fetta on Pide

A simple healthy snack when you're on the run.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 - 7 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
1 wedge of pide bread sliced through to make 2 pieces
1 tomato sliced
Sprinkling of salt & pepper if required
Small piece of fetta cheese
A few fresh basil leaves

Method
  • Slice the pida into 2 halves.
  • Place under the griller to brown the underneath side for 2 minutes
  • Slice the tomato and place on the uncooked side of the pida.



  • Crumble the fetta cheese over the tomato and place back under the grill.
  • Salt and pepper is optional, remember the fetta is quite salty
  • Grill for about 5 - 6 minutes until browned
  • Top with fresh basil leaves
