Guilt Free Fruit Salad Dessert

You don't have to feel guilty of eating desserts this festive season if you just do it right. Take advantage of the summer fruits and make this easy peezy Mango almond yogurt and fruit salad in minutes.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
2 cups of cold cubed mixed fruit and berries of your choice (in season are nectarines,mangoes,rock melon,apple,orange and berries)

For Mango almond yogurt

2 cups thick plain yogurt
1 cup mango pulp(from fresh Mangoes)
2 tbsp almond paste(you can make this by soaking almonds in water overnight and peeling off the skin next day then making a paste in the mixer with some water)
3-4 tbsp sugar or honey



Method
  • Mix all ingredients for the yogurt.

  • Leave the fruit and yogurt to cool in the fridge for and hour or two.

  • Place a tablespoon of the Mango almond yogurt at bottom of a glass or a cup.

  • Top with a tablespoon of the mixed fruit.

  • Repeat process till the glass or cup is full.

  • Decorate with chopped almonds and serve.
