Haddock is the cheaper but just as delicious, version of costly white fish cod. With a bit of love and care it is really lovely. This is a romantic little meal. Enjoy it.

Makes: 2 servings
Ingredients
100ml double cream
Half a broccoli floret
100g garden peas
Haddock fillet
1 lemon
5 garlic cloves
5 tblsp olive oil
Tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
Tsp ground black pepper
Handful of flat parsley
Method
Add the seasoning, oil and lemon juice to a frying pan set to a high heat.
Add the fish. Cook for two minutes, flesh side down on a medium heat.
Turn over and cook for a further five minutes.
Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove the lid and add the cinnamon and a little more salt if you feel it necessary.
Add the broccoli and cook for 10 minutes over a simmering heat.
Cook the peas then split between two bowls.
Add half of the fillet to each bowl.
Pour over the creamy sauce.
Enjoy.
