Homemade Cheeseburgers

Home-made cheeseburgers are easy and fast to make and guaranteed to be a hit with the whole family.



Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
Oil
500g Mince Meat
2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
4 Slices of cheese or shredded cheese
1 Tomato
Lettuce
Mayonnaise
BBQ or tomato sauce
8 Slices of bread
Salt & pepper



Method
  • Step 1
  • Mix crushed garlic into mince meat. Season with salt and pepper. Take 1/4 of the mince and make into a patty.

  • Step 2
  • Heat oil in frying pan and place all patties in the pan.
    Fry until cooked on one side, then flip over.



  • Step 3
  • Cook patties as desired - rare, medium or well done

  • Step 4
  • Spread mayonnaise onto bread



  • Step 5
  • Place lettuce, tomato, cheese onto bread



  • Step 6
  • When burger patties are cooked, place onto prepared bread, squeeze BBQ or tomato sauce on top. Cover with 2nd slice of bread.



    Serve with salad or fries.

    Additional ingredients which also taste delicious include;

    Avocado
    Pineapple
