Homemade Hummus

You can take on the world when you have such a high quality but simple hummus recipe. Sure, it is a great dip staple, but experiment with this incredibly versatile ingredient and add to soups, salads, sandwiches, the options are limitless.



This is just the basic, standard recipe, but once again, don't be afraid to get creative.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 500g

Ingredients
2 cups cooked chickpeas
2 tbsp tahini
2 tsp garlic, crushed
1/4 cup olive oil
1 lemon, juiced

Method
  • Place all ingredients in a food processor.



  • Blitz until well mixed and a dense, slightly chunky consistency is formed.



  • Store in a container refrigerated until desired. Though take my word, it won't last long.
