Homemade Vitamin Water

When you find you're in need of a vitamin boost make your own alkaline vitamin water. It's cheap, easy, and will give you that extra 'oomph' to get through the day.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 5 servings

Ingredients
Half a honeydew melon
1 apple
1 tsp of nettle leaves
Water

Method

  • Fill a large mason jar/glass jar with water and place in the fridge.

  • Quarter the melon and remove the seeds.



  • Slice the melon into chunks.




  • Chop the apple but leave the skin on.



  • Remove the mason jar from the fridge and fill with all the ingredients.



  • Refrigerate - it will keep for a week.



  • The blend of melon and apple is incredibly cooling and calming for the body. Pour some into a bottle and take it with you, to keep calm when stressful situations threaten to arise.
