Hummus With Spicy Paprika

This is easy to make and is a tasty dip to serve with crackers on platters. It can also be used as a sandwich spread.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 6 hours
Serves: 1
Ingredients
400g can chickpeas, drained
2 tbsp tahini
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 lemon, juiced
2 tbsp olive oil
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp spicy paprika
1/8 tsp chilli
Method
Add chickpeas, garlic, tahini, salt and lemon juice into a blender and blend until smooth.
Add 1 tbsp of olive oil and blend.

Add spicy paprika, chilli and remaining olive oil and blend until combined.
Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight for best result.
Serve with crackers.

Tips
While the hummus can be served immediately the flavours intensify if refrigerated overnight.
Double the ingredients and use the extra hummus as a healthy sandwich spread.
