Indian Spiced White Fish

Plain white fish made beautiful with fragrant Indian spices. Tonight I served it with seasonal vegetables and [ Orange Spiced Mash but it is also beautiful with jasmine rice.

Fish and vegetables.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes (marination time inc.)
Cooking Time: 8 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Indian Spiced White Fish
2 fillets of white fish (mine were large so I cut them into smaller chunks)
1/3 C white wine
1 TBSP Mustard Seeds
1/2 TSP Cinnamon
1/2 TSP Turmeric
1 TSP Garam Masala
1 TBSP Butter

1 Bunch of asparagus
1/2 Head of broccoli
1 Zucchini
2 Corn Cobs
2 Servings Orange Spiced Mash

Place the fillets in a container and cover with wine and spices. Leave to marinate for at least 20 minutes, turn the fish half way through.

Heat up half the butter in a large pan, add the fillets and marinade and turn the heat down to medium.

When the top of the fish changes from clear to white flip the fish and cook on the other side for a minute.

After a minute the fish will be done, serve with your choice or sides.

When I flipped the fish I added the broccoli as it takes the longest to cook.

I then threw in the rest of the the green vegetables and butter and stir fried in the remaining marinade.

Voila Indian spiced fish with greens, corn and orange spiced mash.
