Instant Semolina Dosa

Semolina Dosa are a popular South Indian dosa that don't require fermentation. They are very easy to prepare and taste delicious.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 5-6 servings

Ingredients

1 cup roasted Semolina (Suji)
1cup curd
Coriander finely chopped
4-5 Curry leaves
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Jeera
1pinch asafoetida

Method

  • Take 1 cup roasted semolina in a bowl and 1 cup of curd and mix it properly.

  • Add little water and blend the mixture.

  • Keep the mixture aside for min half an hour.

  • Now heat 1 tsp oil and put mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves & asafoetida and mix it in the above mixture.

  • Add Coriander and mix the above ingredients properly.

  • Heat the non stick pan and grease it with the oil.

  • Pour the mixture in the pan and spread from the edges towards the center.

  • Let the base becomes golden in colour.[Image4]

  • Then flip the dosa and let the other side cook.

  • You can serve the hot crispy dosa with coconut chutney or sauce.
