Instant Semolina Dosa

Semolina Dosa are a popular South Indian dosa that don't require fermentation. They are very easy to prepare and taste delicious.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 5-6 servings


1 cup roasted Semolina (Suji)
1cup curd
Coriander finely chopped
4-5 Curry leaves
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Jeera
1pinch asafoetida


Take 1 cup roasted semolina in a bowl and 1 cup of curd and mix it properly.

Add little water and blend the mixture.

Keep the mixture aside for min half an hour.

Now heat 1 tsp oil and put mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves & asafoetida and mix it in the above mixture.

Add Coriander and mix the above ingredients properly.

Heat the non stick pan and grease it with the oil.

Pour the mixture in the pan and spread from the edges towards the center.

Let the base becomes golden in colour.

Then flip the dosa and let the other side cook.

You can serve the hot crispy dosa with coconut chutney or sauce.
