Japanese Salmon Parcels
The subtle yet bold Japanese flavours combine here to create a lip-smackingly divine salmon dish.
As the ingredients just require being thrown together, left to marinade, and then cooked in an oven; it is an easy one to whip up for any last minute occasion to a very satisfactory result!
Preparation Time: 35 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 2 servings
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets
2 tsp coconut oil (or sesame oil if preferred)
1 tsp garlic, crushed
2 tsp ginger, grated
2 tsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
Method
Place all ingredients together in a flat dish and rub the sauce into the flesh of the salmon. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the grill setting on your oven to 175C. Transfer the salmon and sauce onto a sheet of aluminium foil (skin down), and wrap loosely.
Bake the salmon pieces for 10 minutes or until just cooked through. Serve immediately.
