Jelly with Fruit

This is so easy to make, and quick and just requires some setting time.

Delicious with cream!

Preparation Time: 5 minutes plus setting
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients
1 pkt jelly
Fruit of your choice - I used apricots and raspberries
Fruit juice (optional)
Cream (optional)
Blueberries, for decoration (optional)

Method
  • Boil the water and add the first small amount suggested on the packet.

  • Stir thoroughly till all the crystals are melted.

  • I then used some of the juice of a tin of apricots as I had made an [link http://recipeyum.com.au/low-sugar-canned-apricot-and-custard-pie/ apricot pie] and had the juice and some apricots left over.

  • Bring the liquid amount up to the required amount as per packet instructions using this juice (or if you have no juice, use water).

  • Stir again, and then add the fruit of your choice - note, do NOT use kiwifruit, pineapple or paw paw or the jelly will not set properly. Stir gently.

  • Put in the fridge for an hour or two.


  • Serve either with or without cream or ice cream.
