Jelly with Fruit
This is so easy to make, and quick and just requires some setting time.
Delicious with cream!
Preparation Time: 5 minutes plus setting
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients
1 pkt jelly
Fruit of your choice - I used apricots and raspberries
Fruit juice (optional)
Cream (optional)
Blueberries, for decoration (optional)
Method
Boil the water and add the first small amount suggested on the packet.
Stir thoroughly till all the crystals are melted.
I then used some of the juice of a tin of apricots as I had made an [link http://recipeyum.com.au/low-sugar-canned-apricot-and-custard-pie/ apricot pie] and had the juice and some apricots left over.
Bring the liquid amount up to the required amount as per packet instructions using this juice (or if you have no juice, use water).
Stir again, and then add the fruit of your choice - note, do NOT use kiwifruit, pineapple or paw paw or the jelly will not set properly. Stir gently.
Put in the fridge for an hour or two.
Serve either with or without cream or ice cream.
