Low Sugar Chocolate Wholemeal Fruit, Nut and Muesli Muffins

Low sugar, healthy and delicious muffins.
Three of these muffins make a yummy, healthy and filling breakfast alternative.

Preparation Time: 20-30 minutes
Cooking Time: 20-30 minutes
Makes: 24 servings

2 cups of wholemeal self raising flour.
The equivalent of 1 cup of sugar in natural sugar replacer.
3 cups of toasted fruit and nut muesli
2/3 of a cup of low fat and low salt margarine
1/2 cup of hot chocolate powder
2 cups of milk.

You can also substitute the chocolate powder with sugar free carrob, with vanilla essence or with other fruit.

Add mango, blueberries or strawberries, or even apple for different flavours.

To make it dairy free just substitute the margarine and milk for dairy free alternatives.

For nut free use a different muesli and other items not made in the same place as nut products.

For sugar free substitute the fruit & nut muesli and chocolate powder for sugar free alternatives.

Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees Celsius
Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
Grease and lighlty flour muffin pans.
Spoon mixture into muffin tins.
Bake in the oven at 160 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
