Maple Glazed Pork with Cauliflower Cheese Gratin
If you like pork chops then you'll love this maple glazed version. It's a little bit sweet and a little bit sour but it's definitely delicious. Pair it with a cheesy cauliflower gratin for a complete meal that will have everyone coming back for more.

Ingredients
For Maple Glazed Pork
2-4 pork chops
1/4 cup maple syrup
3 tbs tomato sauce
2 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs apple cider vinegar
1 tsp garlic powder
oil for frying
For Cauliflower Gratin
1 medium cauliflower, cut into small florets
50 g butter
40 g plain flour
600 ml milk
1 cup cheese, grated
3/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
Method
For Maple Glazed Pork
In a large frying pan over medium high heat, heat the oil then add the pork chops cooking for 4-5 minutes each side until the pork is cooked through.
In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, tomato sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar and garlic powder.
Pour the sauce into the pan and cook for another 3-5 minutes spooning the sauce over the pork chops and turning to coat.
For Cauliflower Gratin
Preheat oven to 180C and grease a 6 cup ovenprooof dish.
Cook the cauliflower in a pot of salted boiling water or in the microwave until tender. Drain and transfer to the prepared dish.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and add the flour. Stir for 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and gradually add in the milk, stirring constantly. Place the pan back on the heat and cook for 5 minutes until sauce has thickened and is boiling. Stir in 3/4 cup cheese then pour the mixture over the cauliflower.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the cauliflower mixture and top with remaining cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes until golden on top.
