Mars Bar Crispy Cake

With two kids in school, I have plenty of school bake sales to make donations to. This is a quick and easy no bake recipe fridge cake. It's got lots of visual appeal and doesn't disappoint on indulgent taste.

Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 16 servings

Ingredients
180g of Mars bars
75g unsalted butter
2 tbsp golden syrup
100g Rice Krispie cereal
150g milk chocolate
50g white chocolate

Method

Line a 20cm square baking tin with cling film which will make it easy to remove the crispy cake when set.

Cut the Mars Bars and butter into cubes.

Place in a bowl with the golden syrup and melt in a microwave or over a pan of boiling water. These ingredients have different melting points so keep going and stirring until all melted and smooth.
