Meat Stuffed Portobello Mushroom

This meat stuffed portobello mushroom makes a great entree to lunch or dinner that family and kids will love and it's easy to prepare and cook.



Preparation Time: 60 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
2 large portobello mushroom, stems removed, peeled
1 stalk scallions, thinly sliced
Roasted sesame seeds, to serve

For Meat Stuffings
100g pork mince
5 chinese mushrooms, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp chinese cooking wine
dash of white pepper

Method
  • Fill a steamer pot with water. Bring to the boil.
  • In a bowl, add all the meat stuffings ingredients and mix with hands until well combined.



  • Leave to marinate for an hour. Divide stuffings into 2 portions.



  • Place stuffings on top of each portobello mushrooms and sprinkle scallions on top.



  • Steam for 10 minutes until meat stuffing is cooked through.
  • Sprinkle some roasted sesame seeds and serve immediately.
