Methi Aloo

Fenugreek leaves (1)     
Try this amazing and tasty recipe and you will not be able to stop eating it. Methi Aloo is a fragrant and flavourful Indian dish.


Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
4 cups of methi leaves fenugreek (methi) cleaned, washed and finely chopped
1 medium size onion
2 medium size potatoes
1 medium size tomato
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
Pinch of asafoetida
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp curd (optional)
2 tsp oil



Methods
●Take a pan, heat up the oil and add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, garlic, asafoetida, onion while the colour comes into brow.





●Then add potatoes, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, tomato and stir this mixture with a spoon for 4 minutes.




●Add fenugreek leaves to this mixture and cook this mixture for 5 minutes in medium heat.





●Add curd and stir this mixture.

●Serve hot with chapattis.
