Milk Peda
or Doodh Peda is a very popular traditional dessert of India. It is a delicious milk sweet which can be prepared in quick time, using very limited ingredients generally available at home.

Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 9-10 servings
Ingredients
2 cups milk powder
400g condensed milk
1/4 cup of milk
1/2 cup melted ghee or unsalted butter
1/2 tsp cardamon powder
5-6 almonds
Method
Heat some butter in a pan and add milk powder, condensed milk and cardamon powder to it.

Stir the mixture continuously, until it becomes thick in texture.
Add some milk to it and stir the mixture untill it starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Transfer the mixture into a pan and let it get cool for a few minutes.

Now knead the mixture to make a soft dough and make small balls of it. Flatten the balls with the help of your palm, to make the 'pedas'. You may give it the desired shape, as per your choice.

Garnish the 'pedas' with almonds on top, and the sweet is ready to be relished.
