Milo biscuits

are a great treat for morning tea, afternoon tea or lunchboxes.
I like mine with with sprinkles but you could also decorate these biscuits with additional milo.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 25

Ingredients
125 g butter, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 – 3/4 cup Milo
1 1/2 cups SR flour
White chocolate/icing sugar/sprinkles to decorate (optional)

Method
  • Preheat the oven to 180C and line 2 baking sheets with baking paper.
  • Cream the butter and sugar until pale and creamy before adding the egg. Beat well until the egg is incorporated.
  • Mix in the milo until well combined.

  • Add the flour and mix until combined and a soft dough is formed.

  • Roll tablespoonfulls of the mixture into a ball, and place them onto the baking sheets. Using your fingers or a fork, gently press them down, leaving a 3-4cm space between each biscuit.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • To decorate mine I melted some white chocolate, spooned it carefully on top and added sprinkles to the centre.
