Mini Garlic Pizza Bread

These tasty garlic pizza breads are so easy to make and can be prepared ahead of time and frozen. When I make pizza for dinner I like to have some of these to have as a side.

Garlic Pizza Bread Crunchy outside with melted cheese


Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 12 minutes
Makes: 4

Ingredients
Four mini pre cooked pizza bases
2 cups of grated tasty cheese
4 tablepspoons of garlic butter (Tru Blu brand)

Method
  • Preheat the oven to 220 degrees celcius or 200 fan forced.
  • Take pizza bases out of the packet on to a cutting board to prepare.
  • Start in the centre spreading with garlic butter almost all the way to the edge, leaving about 1/2-1 cm for the crust.

  • Level about 12 1 cm edge for the crust


  • Top each pizza with desired amount of cheese, and wrap in alfoil.
  • Pizzas can be frozen up to three months. Use a permanent marker and write the date made onto the alfoil of each one and place into the freeze until ready to use.
  • When ready to cook pizzas, preheat the oven to 200 degrees fan forced.

  • Add cheese and your pizza is ready to cook


  • Cook for 12 minutes until golden and the cheese has melted.
  • Cut into four and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • For extra crispy and golden, leave pizzas in for about about 2-5 minutes

    Notes
  • For the garlic butter I use Tru Blu brand, but you can use any garlic butter for this.

  • If you prefer you can also make your own garlic butter by mixing softened butter with minced garlic and dried herbs of your choice.

  • The pizza bases are available at the supermarket in the cold section in a 12 pack. I make some into pizzas and save four for my garlic pizza breads.
