Mint lemonade is a delightful summer beverage. The sweetness is balanced perfectly with tart lemon juice and fresh flavoured mint leaves.
This refreshing beverage will help us to combat the summer heat. You can also blend it with ice to make a lemonade slush.

Makes: 3 servings
Ingredients
2 lemon
1/4 cup mint leaves, packed
1/2 cup sugar
3 cup water
Method
Prepare the mint syrup first. Combine 1/3 sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan. Bring it to boil. Remove from heat. Add the fresh mint leaves into the sugar syrup and stir well. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Chill the mint syrup for 1 hour.
Now pour remaining water to another saucepan. Add sugar and stir well until the sugar dissolves. Now juice the lemon and add to water.
Now add the mint syrup as required to the lemon juice. You can also add the mint leaves if you like.
The fresh mint lemonade is ready. Serve and enjoy.
The remaining mint syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
