This is something I like to use to decorate the side of a plate. It's great for desserts to make them look good, and it's great to pour over a basic cheesecake, and I even like it to use on dry cake. No point wasting a cake that would have been good if I didn't over cook it.
Mixed berry coulis along side my cake
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 1 cup
Ingredients 1 1/4 cups of mixed frozen berries (blackberry, raspberry and blueberry)
2 tablespoons of raw organic sugar
2 tablespoons of water
In a small saucepan add all ingredients and cook down until slightly soft and sugar is dissolved.
Heat berries, water and sugar on the stove until sugar dissolves
Place all ingredients into your stick blender bowl and blitz until almost smooth, or smooth if you prefer.
Allow to cool and place into a sterilised jar, and date it. This should keep in the fridge for about 4 days to a week.
