Ingredients

1 cup green lentils (Moong Dal)
Finely chopped ginger
1 finely chopped green chilli
1 finely chopped onion
2 tbsp gram flour (Besan)
6 tbsp oil
1/2 tbsp salt
Method

Wash the green lentils properly and soak it for 2 hours.
Grind the green lentils with finely chopped ginger and green chilli. Ensure that you add just 2 -3 spoons of water to make a thick paste.
Add 2 tbs of gram flour to bind the above paste properly.
Add finely chopped oiniosn and blend itproperly with the paste.
Heat oil in a frying pan and add 1 tbs of the above paste by using hand or a small spoon.
Fry it on a low flame until golden brown and serve it hot with sauce or green chutney.
