This is a simple no fuss ice cream cake, perfect for a hot day.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time Overnight to set
2 litre tub of ice cream
300 grams of Oreos
Allow the ice cream to soften, until it is easy to work with.
In a zip lock back put 1 packet of Oreos in the bag and smash into small pieces.
Combine ice cream and Oreos together.
Cut Oreos into half.
Line the bottom of the spring form tin with baking paper.
Line the bottom and the sides of tin with the Oreos.
Pour the ice cream mixture in the tin.
Decorate with ice magic on top.
Set in the freezer until firm ( best done overnight).
Pop the cake out of the tin and serve.
Decorate with chocolate flakes on top
Notes The base can alternatively be made with cream cheese or cottage cheese and Oreos. This can be done by blending the Oreos into a crumb and combining it with the cream cheese or cottage cheese using your fingers
